Llévelo llévelo, marisco vivo, perdón fresco, llévelo / Live seafood (did I say live or fresh?) /

No no no IMPACTANTE…

Ja ja Me voy a dormir

Yes, just like you read, it was AMAZING. I was walking to my hotel when I found something that deserves an addendum to the last post. If you’ve ever been in a Chinatown (NY, Sn Fco), you know that a “must see” is a market with fresh sea food, right?? Well, these guys took that concept and went to the extreme, when you think in fresh food, you may think in “recent” killed food, but not in LIVE food, haha, this is how it works: If you touch the fish and it doesn’t move, is not live, you don’t buy it, haha REALLY!!! One lady came back because the fish was moving so hard that broke the plastic bag, unbelievable (take a look to the pics)

They have the fishes in water and some have developed an advanced system of water hydration to keep them alive. When they are running out of fishes in the main plate, they take the net and they put live fishes there to make the customers happy. I also saw a place with chickens, yes, LIVE chickens, same rules just that they don’t kill the animal in front of you (because with the fishes they do) No no no that was an impact. Haha.. nice cultural experiences don't u think?..
